These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of DeadZero, a ballistic calculator provided by Primal Engine ("we", "us") at primalengine.com (the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
DeadZero produces mathematical estimates for informational and educational purposes only. Ballistic outputs — zeros, come-ups, holds, drift, and terminal/impact-velocity figures — are models based on the inputs you provide and published data, and will differ from real-world results due to your specific firearm, ammunition lot, barrel, optic, atmosphere, and conditions.
Always confirm your zero and holds by live fire on a safe range before relying on them. Do not use the App as the sole basis for taking any shot, including at game or in any situation where a miss or wounding could cause harm. Firearms are dangerous; follow all firearm-safety rules and all applicable laws. You assume all risk arising from your use of the App and your handling of firearms and ammunition.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App or its outputs are accurate, complete, reliable, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primal Engine and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of property, injury, or harm, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App or its outputs, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
The App — including its software, code, data, calculations, design, text, graphics, and the Primal Engine and DeadZero names and marks — is owned by Primal Engine and protected by copyright and other laws. It is provided for your personal use only. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, rehost, mirror, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the App or any part of it, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission.
You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal purposes and to comply with all applicable firearms, hunting, and export laws in your jurisdiction. You may not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it.
The App runs in your browser. Your settings and saved setups are stored locally on your device (browser storage) and are not transmitted to us. The App does not require an account and does not collect personal information.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted here. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
